Dear INFORMS Members:
We wanted to provide you with a short update related to the INFORMS 2018 Government & Analytics Summit being held in Washington on May 21st.
We received many excellent nominations for our three panels from Fellows and Subdivision Leaders. As a reminder, each panel will consist of three to four panelists, plus a moderator. Our partners at the Signal Group have been reviewing the nominations for each panel, and we anticipate that invitations to panelists will go out this week.
As soon as all of the panelists have been confirmed we will share that information.
The agenda for the Summit will be as follows:
Invitations to the Summit are also well underway, consisting of targeted invitations to select federal agency employees, congressional staff members, the media and others.
We know the Summit is of great interest to many INFORMS members. Unfortunately, as seating is limited, we are holding these limited seats for our targeted audiences. However, we are working with the Signal Group to record each of the three panels and Secretary Foxx's and General Hayden's keynote remarks. We will provide more information on how to access these videos at a later date.
Lastly, we have launched www.informsdcanalytics.org as the Summit's website. The site will also be updated with panelist and other information in the weeks ahead.
