2018 Call for nominations: Volunteer Service AwardThere is still time to nominate our peers for their service contributions to our community. If you participated or chaired an INFORMS committee, FORA, society, or other INFORMS group, you may known community members whose contributions and commitment during last year were invaluable and deserve to be recognized. Please consider nominating them for this award!

Our INFORMS Community thrives because of the time and effort that year after year hundreds of its members volunteer to organize and support many valuable activities and events (e.g., conferences, workshops, sessions, competitions, societies, mentoring other members, etc.)
This is your opportunity to nominate and recognize members of INFORMS for their exceptional volunteer service to our Community during the period between July 1st, 2017 and June 30th, 2018.
To be eligible for an award, a nominee must:
- Be a current INFORMS member (all classes of membership in good standing)
- Have served INFORMS at least for the past year in a volunteer position
- NOT be a current or incoming board member
- NOT have been awarded the prize within the last three years
The award committee will evaluate nominations by the following criteria:
- INFORMS membership status
- Impact within INFORMS
- Engagement level within INFORMS
- Time commitment of the volunteer service activity
Several awards will be given at three levels: Distinguished, Meritorious, and Service. Nominations must be submitted online no later than
July 31, 2018. Self-nominations are also welcomed.
