    Dear INFORMS Members:

Over the summer you received a request to participate in a National Science Foundation study, a first-of-its-kind research project on the experiences of professionals within the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) workforce. The study's goal is to expand basic knowledge about the experiences of people across STEM disciplines, industries, and work environments. INFORMS was among the first professional societies to participate. As a member of INFORMS, your perspective and experiences helped provide valuable insight into the STEM workforce. The research team has compiled a detailed report about the results of the survey that we are now making available to all INFORMS members (please find attached). The INFORMS board has reviewed this report and our newly created INFORMS Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee has reviewed the report and will be using the results to guide decisions about how to advance our goal of being an inclusive organization that is welcoming to all members of our field.
