    LECTURER, ADJUNCT, OR VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITION: BUSINESS ANALYTICS AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS

    The Department of Management Sciences at The University of Iowa invites applicants for multiple full-time or part-time academic-year positions teaching topics in business analytics and information systems in the undergraduate and master's programs beginning August 15, 2018. Lecturers will be appointed to 1 to 3-year renewable terms and teach 4 to 8 courses per academic year. The University of Iowa offers lecturers a competitive benefits package including retirement, medical and dental plans, life insurance, disability insurance, and medical and dependent care spending accounts. Visiting assistant professors will be appointed for one to two years and will teach 4 courses. We also seek adjuncts to teach part-time (as few as one course per year). Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.

    The Department of Management Sciences offers undergraduate and doctoral programs in Business Analytics and Information Systems (BAIS). The Department also offers a Graduate Certificate and Master's programs in Business Analytics. Offerings in the graduate Business Analytics program are offered in Iowa City as well as at remote sites in Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, and the Quad Cities. Given the remote locations, in addition to applicants living in or willing to live in Iowa City, we encourage applications from those living or willing to live in Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, and the Quad Cities.

    Qualifications: A Master's degree in a related field is required; a PhD and/or extensive industry experience is preferred. Applicants must have a strong background teaching in multiple areas of business analytics and information systems.
