    ​So, I'm old and new to all of this.  Almost 40 yrs of operations management experience, with a BS in Management Science, and an MS in Applied Statistics.  I'm also a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and currently manage the Lean Sigma deployment in Chevron Environmental Management Company. 

    I am really interested in Discrete Event Simulation because I am confident it will reduce the cost of implementing new improvements and reduce lead time to implementation.  In addition, I'm excited about using DES for process design.  Since I'm always Continuously Improving my skill set, I feel DES is a good fit for the processes I work on.

    I'm not tool agnostic, I have a license for ExtendSim, so any resources around ExtendSim software would be helpful.
