Starting in Summer 2018, McGill's Desautels Faculty of Management will offer a new Masters program in Analytics. The McGill Masters of Management in Analytics (MMA) degree is a pre-experience, twelve-month specialized program in the evolving field of management analytics. The MMA program is designed to address the growing needs of organizations (for profit, non-profit, governmental) for business analytics. The emphasis of the program will be on managerial problem–solving using state-of-the-art data analytics tools to optimize organizational decisions in a variety of managerial settings.
Towards the end of the program, students have the chance to participate in an international study trip to visit organizations that are at the forefront of using analytics in a business setting. As another dimension of experiential learning, students also complete an integrative capstone project that is based on a real problem supplied by industry.
