    CALL FOR POSTERS - STUDENT POSTER COMPETITION

    The Quality Control and Reliability Engineering (QCRE) Division of the Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers (IISE) is pleased to announce a Call for Posters to be presented during the 2018 IISE Annual Conference and Expo in Orlando, FL. The competition is open to all students. The poster session provides an additional opportunity to share and discuss recent research in QCRE's areas of interests and to socialize with your fellow students, professors, industry members, company representatives, and QCRE members. The top three finalists will be announced and the first place winner will receive a certificate.
    Important Dates:
    1. November 30, 2017 [extended]: Abstract due;
    2. December 29, 2017: Abstract acceptance notification and further information will be made available;
    3. May 19-22, 2018: 2018 IISE Annual Conference and Expo.

    Poster Competition Instructions:

     

    1. Abstract should be 500 characters maximum (approximately 50 words), title of poster - 100 characters maximum.

    2. Eligibility requirements: Submissions may be made by student members, the student must be the lead author, and the submitted poster must not have won any award at any previous competitions.

    If your abstract is accepted: (a) the presenting author must register for the conference by March 13, 2018 (poster presentations without the presenting author registered for the conference will be withdrawn from the program and the proceedings); (b) the presenting author must attend and present the poster at the conference;

    3. Please email a document with the following information to ramin@miami.edu: The entrant and all co-authors' names, current affiliations, email addresses; Poster title and Abstract.
