    The Department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering (ORFE), http://www.orfe.princeton.edu, seeks to appoint a full-time Senior Lecturer with expertise in statistics and probability. ORFE is a center of research and education in the fields of statistics, probability and optimization with main application to financial engineering. This is a three-year term appointment with the possibility of renewal.
    The Senior Lecturer will have full-time teaching responsibilities for ORFE that will generally involve teaching undergraduate as well as introductory graduate courses; the training and oversight of graduate students and postdoctoral researchers as Assistant Instructors; and the mentoring of undergraduate students on research internships and independent work.  The Senior Lecturer will be expected to be a leader in pedagogy and an innovator in instructional techniques. He/she will have the opportunity to interact with faculty, fellows, researchers and students, as well as to participate in the various outreach activities of the department.
    The successful candidate must have a PhD in Operations Research, Statistics, or Mathematics and demonstrated experience designing and teaching courses at the university level. Candidates should be accomplished educators and scholars who have teaching experience and a track record of mentoring undergraduate students in innovative research assignments.
