Postdoctoral Fellowship in Behavioural Economics/Decision Modelling at Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
Dr. Krishna Savani, a social psychologist, and Prof. S. Viswanathan, an operations management researcher, at Nanyang Business School, Singapore, are recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow for a project on developing behavioral interventions to reduce people's car ownership and car usage. The postdoc's responsibilities would include (1) developing mathematical models of driving-related decision making, (2) collecting and analyzing archival data, and (3) designing and conducting lab experiments.
The postdoc would also have the opportunity to work on additional research ideas with the two professors on topics of mutual interest. There are no teaching or administrative responsibilities involved. The postdoc would be assisted by a full-time research assistant hired under this grant, and would be joining a lab group consisting of two existing postdocs (a behavioral economist and a social psychologist), three full-time research assistants, and a number of PhD students.
Researchers with experience with mathematical modeling, analyzing archival data, and designing lab experiments would be most suitable for this position.
This fellowship will be for two or three years beginning as soon as October 1, 2017, or as late as August 1, 2018. Applicants must have completed all requirements for a PhD prior to taking up this position. The search would continue on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
