    Siena College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position. Please see below for more details:
     

    Position and Desired Qualifications: The Department of Quantitative Business Analysis and Actuarial Science of Siena College is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial candidate to fill a tenure-track Assistant Professor position for the 2018-2019 academic year.

    The ideal candidate will have teaching experience at the undergraduate level and be capable of teaching applied quantitative reasoning courses for the School of Business. Experience teaching introductory or advanced statistics courses as well as upper level mathematics courses in probability, statistics, mathematical finance or data science is preferred. Preferred candidates will have completed a Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or related field by July 1, 2018.  A background screening will be required.

    The Department of Quantitative Business Analysis and Actuarial Science is responsible for delivering a recently developed Business Analytics concentration for the major in the School of Business. It is an active department in a dynamic school which is in the process of continually redefining curriculum and seeking to expand its offering to students interested in developing their analytical skills in business areas. We seek an energetic and engaging colleague to participate in curricular development that will encourage further growth.
