The Atlanta chapter of INFORMS will host a meeting on Wednesday, August 28th, on the campus of Georgia Tech.

Our guest speaker will be Warren Hearnes and the topic of his talk will be Marketing + Analytics at Cardlytics. A brief BIO for Dr. Hearnes is below for your review. Our meeting will start at 6 pm and ends at 7pm.  We will have a reception before the meeting that starts at 5:30.

The meeting will be held in the Executive Classroom of GA Tech’s Industrial & Systems Engineering building (755 Ferst Drive). 

Speaker BIO: Warren Hearnes is VP of Marketing Insights & Analytics at Cardlytics in Atlanta. After serving as an officer in the U.S. Army, Warren earned his MS in Operations Research and PhD in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech. He's held a variety of OR/Analytics-related roles during the past 15 years at Lucent Technologies, UPS, The Home Depot, and Cardlytics, applying optimization, machine learning, and predictive modeling to problems in manufacturing, fraud detection, transportation, pricing, and marketing. At Cardlytics, he leads a team of analysts that measures the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and provides marketing insights to many top brands in the U.S. Warren is a member of the following INFORMS Communities: Atlanta Chapter, the Analytics Section, the Optimization Society, and the Society for Marketing Science.
